Anthro Cranium Measure

A scientific instrument used by anthropologists in Australia in the early 20th century. This was used by field anthropologists to measure cranium sizes of the "natives" at a time when there was interest in measuring brain size, and comparing this with those of the "civilized.

Stainless steel with a functioning dial, and expanding arms. The only one we've seen.
