February 1, 2012 Dear Friends, This week we are delighted to feature a photographic portfolio from artist Alain Gayot. Gayot's website GAYOT.com "The Guide to the Good Life" is used by legions of fans, providing insightful reviews of restaurants, hotels, wines, cars, movies and sundry other experiences. In 2002, after 20 years and the publication of more than 200 legendary guidebooks and countless periodicals covering the great cities of the world, Alain Gayot embraced new technologies to publish the content on the internet. Try to Google: "top 10 boutique hotels in the world" or "top 10 sexy films" and it is likely that GAYOT will be at or near the top of millions of unpaid, organic searches. For more than 30 years Gayot has carried a pocket camera as he criss crosses the globe. Taking up to 1,500 photos a day on land, sea and air (often piloting himself in plane or helicopter), Gayot's eye for color and detail has become increasingly refined and sought after. Here we present Gayot's "à table", a selection of photos from a few days in New York. This portfolio of photos is now available exclusively through the gallery as signed, limited edition prints. Please inquire for details.

January 2012 Horse racing enthusiast and Los Angeles legend Mark Verge took us behind the scenes, sharing with us the excitement of his stable and the historic Santa Anita track. Mark and his friends have been responsible for a resurgence in California thoroughbred horse racing, as well as being advocates for horses retiring from racing careers.
