An ancient Okvik Inuit walrus ivory minature human figure. Elongated facial features. Simple oblong torso. Dark brown color. Fine condition, with smooth, hard surface. Rear surface sheared in antiquity. St. Lawrence Island. Circa 100 BC-200 AD. Similar to a piece illustrated in old Smithsonian Report, see attached illustration. 5.2 cm tall.
