A Nayarit polychrome seated male figure, Ixtlan de Rio style. The figure, with elaborate tattooing, large nose ring, and complex earrings and twisted headband, sits pensively contemplating the universe. Excellent pigment and overall condition. From a Palm Springs collection formed in the 1960's. Circa 100-500 AD. Very rare depiction.
