An engraved aboriginal mother- of -pearl pendant, in the shape of a large hook, with long length of human hair attached to pendant by resin. Fine totemistic engravings. These pendants were considered sacred and were traded over very long distances. Collected Broome, Australia. Circa 1930. In excellent condition.
