African Kru Priest Anklet #2

A Kru, Liberia, Bodio, W. African brass bell anklet. Of the same style, and likely from the same hand as the larger Kru anklet on offer. The small size of this piece, and the absence, seemingly by design, of a ringing clapper, suggest that this may have been forged for an older priest’s young acolyte or used as an altar piece.
