African Yoruba Torque

Yoruba torque, Nigeria, West Africa. A heavy bronze master stroke of metal work, showing a series of ridges, culminating in two disc like protrusions, with nipple terminals at each end. A very old piece, with tremendous verdigris accretions on surface. While documented in leading texts, and seen in select museum collections.
