A very large and heavy American barn panel, with cut out decorative design mounted on brown barn panel. Wear on paint from long exposure. Pennsylvania Dutch country, Burke County, Pennsylvania. One of a pair. Very imposing, working as paintings and large scale sculpture. The barn was built in 1840. This and the twin panel were added between 1860 and 1880. Rare.
