2 Aboriginal Ceremonial Instruments
#153038

Two aboriginal ceremonial instruments, the one with sawtooth white stone tip, attached to a hardwood shaft by a large application of spinifex resin. Small area of loss at tip of stone. Fine patina on shaft and stone. The other with a very smooth, very well shaped small dark stone blade, this with a sharp and even edge. This beautiful gem is attached to a hardwood shaft with spinifex resin, clearly very old. These two instruments came with each other, and probably date to the first quarter of the 20th century.
