Aboriginal Ceremonial Instrument #153039
A very old aboriginal hardwood ceremonial instrument, with long angular shape, the length divided into five surfaces. Decorated with possum tooth incisings on the five sides, throughout. The butt large and thick, the five edged shaft terminating in a point. Excellent surface patina. A couple of age cracks along one surface. Circa 19th century. Ex-James Davidson. Extremely Rare.
