Pair of Edan bronze ceremonial bells, Yoruba, Nigeria. Once linked by a chain or other attachment. Worn by the highest priest. Superior design and craftsmanship. Original clappers were replaced by wired in brass bead for ringing at some point long ago. Great patination. Pre-Muslim influence.
