2 Large Inuit Aleutian Island Harpoons #158003
Two large, ancient Inuit harpoon heads, the smaller one in ivory, the larger in whale bone. The size of these pieces, particularly the larger one, is remarkable. Aleutian Inuit material is much scarcer than from other areas. Collected by an American navy man during World War II. Very rare.
Weight, the two together: 150 g / 6 oz
Arrow 1: Length: 16.5 cm / 6 ½ in
Arrow 2: Length: 11.5 cm / 4 ½ in
