A miniature prehistoric Inuit wooden transformation mask, man transforming into a seal. From Pt. Hope/ Pt. Barrow Alaska. Put together from several original fragments. This would have been done by someone on the scene years ago, using available means. A great piece that can not be deterred by the presence of glue, etc. Mask is missing nose in center. Punuk or early Thule period (600 AD-1500 AD). While this piece could be professionally restored, we find it perfect as is. Very rare.
