Cast iron toy fire engine drawn by team of two black and one white horse. The removable fireman seated on front of wagon. The yellow carriage with red rear wheels and cylindrical water tank. Underside of carriage with bell and stamped "079" Original paint with wear in spots. Reference: Hornung, Treasury of American Design and Antiques, #2242, p. 629. Made in Germany, likely for the American market, circa 1890.
