Naga Paired Bracelets

A matched pair of very old ivory or Mithun horn bracelets, Nagaland, Northeastern India/Western Burma. Placing these two bracelets atop one other demonstrates they are a close fit at the edges, clearly cut from the same larger piece. These would have been important prestige and wealth items. We have not before seen another matched pair like this. Surface wear and dark, smooth patina showing great age. Perhaps unique. Circa 19th century or before.
