A Colima, Phumaco Style, West Mexico seated male holding a conch shell. Animated seated hollow effigy, vessel lid atop, the male figure a 'v' shape torso and thin arms. He holds an important conch shell in his lap. Original red and cream pigment. Intact with minor professional restoration. Circa 200 BC-300 AD. From an old New York collection.
