An Inca wood votive canopa, Peru. Age worn and well patinated altar votive carved in the form of llama with long neck. Thick, dense wood. Hole in body for offering. A wooden piece that could have only survived in such as the Andean climate. Intact with crack on one side. Circa 1200-1400 AD.
