A cylinder seal of black steatite from Mesopotamia, Late Uruk/Jemdat Nasr period, circa 3000-2900 BC. Three goats or antelope stand in single file, facing left. A fourth appears to be jumping the hindquarters of the third. Exhibited 1988, The New Jersey Museum of Archaeology. "Miniscule Monuments of Ancient Art". From the Virginia E. Bailey Collection.
