Syria 2nd Millennium BC Loop

A fine bronze looped cylinder seal from Uratu or Syria. 1st-2nd millennium BC. Surface is worn, but appears to depict winged figures. The bronze construction is consistent with Uratu origin, but the suspension loop suggests Syrian influence, see "The Habib Anavian Collection of Ancient Near Eastern Cylinders", 1979, figure 118 for a more complex looped example in serpentine. Rare.
