Aboriginal, Darling Paroo River, NSW shield. Thick, heavy wood, incised totemistic markings to both sides, glossy surface patina. Lots of knocks, chips, and scrapes to the edges from use. Collected in Queensland. 19th century. A fabulous piece, very rare.
