Neolithic Danish Offer Axe

An extremely large and well made Danish neolithic flint axe, of a rare type called "Valbyax" . The axe is unpolished with a complete neck and a perfectly intact edge. The knapping on this piece is that of a master stoneworker. This piece is from the "Time of the Great Burial Mounds". It would have been a piece that would have accompanied an important chief or warrior. Mint condition. From an old Danish collection. Extremely rare in this size and quality.
